Fall-Inspired Smokey Eye

The most amazing thing about the smokey eye is its versatility. The combination of liner and eye shadows used in this dramatic makeup technique allows for a plethora of possibilities when it comes to styles, no matter the season. For fall, grays and charcoals are traded for shades reminiscent of autumn –oranges, browns, reds, taupes and plums –create warm, sultry looks to complete one’s boots and sweater outfits. Danielle is perfectly ready for fall. She chose a taupe and plumb combo that adds just the right amount of drama to the eyes without looking too heavy –making it a fantastic beauty look that can be worn from day to night. Her highlights are on point –both at the inner corner of the eyes as well as on the brow bones to draw light to the eyes. The pink lip complements her beauty look too –and we love how she enhanced her cupid’s bow! To perfect her fall-inspired makeup, we suggest blending her eye makeup more. No harsh lines should be seen when creating a gradient look. To avoid this, one must use a fluffy crease brush (an important tool in any makeup look), then use a windshield wiper motion. This will help achieve a light shadow application on the crease of the eyes. And to add more warmth to her face, Danielle could use a peach, or any pale shaded blush. But overall, this lovely beauty look definitely puts us in the mood for plush cashmere and comforting pumpkin spice lattes.
