The summer is flying by, and while there might be a few more perfect beach days left this year, in the blink of an eye it'll be time for kids to go back to school, Starbucks to start serving its PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte, for those who don't regularly drink $6 coffees), and leaves to fall on the ground. Although the end of summer is usually a sad time signaling the end of freedom, shorts and sunshine, this year there is one reason to stay happy despite the days getting shorter and the temperature dropping: Colourpop Cosmetics, a cult-favorite brand with a large following, will launch at Sephora starting in November.
Colourpop's "Yes Please!" Eyeshadow Palette, Currently Sold Out But Will Be Restocked Online August 10th @ 10am
Colourpop is currently available only online, which can be frustrating to those who are new to the brand. Although there are many Instagram posts and Youtube videos that prospective buyers could view in order to see how the products look on actual people, nothing beats getting to try a product on in person and seeing how it looks with your skin tone, on your face, the way you want to apply it. That's not the only positive about Colourpop coming to Sephora either. The low-cost but high-quality brand has said that it will not change its prices in stores, with lipsticks as low as $6 and vibrant eyeshadow palettes for $18. Currently, even if a customer wants to only try one $6 matte lipstick, they still have to pay a $6 shipping fee, which may stop some from clicking Buy Now.
If you haven't tried any of Colourpop's products and are skeptical about their quality due to such low prices, head on over to Instagram and search the hashtag #Colourpop. You'll find so many positive reviews, consistent swatches, and high ratings. Also, Colourpop shares the same founders and manufacturer with multiple huge beauty brands, including Kylie Cosmetics and KKW Beauty (Kim Kardashian's beauty line).

Before you start hibernating inside to avoid the cold all winter and refusing to smile until you can lay out at the beach again (seasonal affective disorder is so common, you're more likely to have it than not), remember that November doesn't only mean endless turkey this year. Mark it on your calendar, set a reminder on your phone, make a Facebook event: this will be an iconic beauty moment you do not want to miss. The extreme popularity and low prices mean that people will be snatching up as many Colourpop lippies as they can get their hands on, but the brand reports that they will continue with their current extremely-fast pace of new launches, so hopefully that means less out-of-stock products and more options.
The days around you might be getting darker come November but this year you will feel brighter and more colorful from all of the new Colourpop shades. Once you realize how much you love the products and the feeling of new makeup that doesn't drain your bank account, you'll (almost) forget about how much you miss the summer.
